Hudson Chemicals are a “small, but big” company that prides ourselves on attentive service, honest communication, and continual learning and education. Founded in 1985, we have established ourselves as a nationwide expert in dry cleaning, wet cleaning, and full-service laundry for many industries.
The Backbone of Hudson: Our Team
Ed Share
Ed is the Senior Technical Consultant and part owner of Hudson Chemicals, Inc. He was born into the fabric care industry and has been educating his loyal customers for 40+ years.
Ed has worked for a large cleaning operation that was established in 1936 (you know the one…) where he became production manager and started their first home delivery routes, which guided that business to the best results they had ever accomplished.
He moved on to try his own hand at selling Dry Cleaning and Laundry Equipment for a local distributor and finally landed where he feels he should have been his whole life: Learning and Selling Chemistry to the Fabric Care industry.
Ed supervised a one year study on Wet Cleaning in the early 90’s with support from CAMP and CNT where he became a pioneer in the process of Wet Cleaning and continues that passion today. His professional satisfaction comes from helping and teaching customers the how to Spot treat garments and clean garments the correct way giving them the best results possible.
His well rounded education and experiences in the business, coupled with our sister company Hudson Equipment, make Ed and Hudson Chemicals a one-stop shop and truly the best choice for our customers to prosper.
Skip Wilke
Skip is the owner of Hudson Equipment Inc., and has been in the fabric care industry for 43 years. When new customers ask him to give them references, he issues them a challenge: call any three people from the industry in the state of Ohio or Western Pennsylvania and ask them about our company. That’s how confident we are in our ability to service our customers. That is what we bring to the table, and Skip is fiercely proud of that.
Don Potter
Don Potter has been in the Textile Care Industry for over 30 years starting at Ecolab, moving onto Gordon Food Service and State Cleaning Solutions.
Don has been a Textile Care Specialist/Area Manager and Marketing Manager in most of the national marketplace, specializing in the Midwest on large Commercial, Industrial and Institutional laundry operations.
Don has extensive Tunnel washer and wet cleaning chemical services experience.
Tyler Armstrong
Tyler is our Technical Service Manager.
Having been with us since 2017 he has become very good at deciphering machine and pump issues; a true problem solver.
Tyler has built great relationships with our customers and is becoming an installation and service expert. We are excited to have him on the Hudson team!
Ryan Cashin
Ryan spent years working with State Cleaning Solutions and has extensive knowledge of cleaning Textiles. He is another Textile Care Specialist on our team and he provides technical support to our ever growing list of customers, we our excited to have Ryan on our team.
